The Government announced on 11 December 2020 a reduction in the number of days that close contacts self-isolate, from 14 days to 10 days.

Symptoms of coronavirus

The most common symptoms are new:
Some people will have more serious symptoms, including pneumonia or difficulty breathing, which might require admission to hospital.
- continuous cough
- fever/high temperature (37.8C or greater)
- loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste (anosmia)
- have a new cough that’s lasted for an hour
- have had 3 or more episodes of coughing in 24 hours
- are coughing more than usual

Covid-19: NHS test and trace process
Please be aware that:
-Staff/ parents & carers need to be ready and willing to book a test, provide details of who they have been in close contact with and self-isolate where required
-Anyone displaying symptoms staff/ parents & carers/ children should get a test
-Adults staff/ parents & carers need to inform the Nursery immediately about test results
The head teacher has a responsibility to report suspected cases of Covid-19.

We do have leave of absence forms at Nursery for you to complete before any holiday so we can record the absence in the class register. Thank you for your support in keeping everyone at Nursery safe.
