Message Board
After the children self register (early Reading) they join together for message board. They sing hello, count how many children, listen to key messages and take part in a short adult led learning.
In the Autumn term children learn the days of the week and weather.
In the spring term children learn some Maths and phonics.
In the summer term children learn phonics.

Snack Time
Parents/ carers are kind enough to donate fruit. This is shared at snack time, along with a choice of milk or water. Children sit together at snack time and take turns to take the lead role in giving out snack. Snack time is used as a talking time, reflecting on the session so far and planning next steps.
