SUPPORTING CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH
1. Listen, watch and acknowledge how your child may be feeling
2. Provide clear information about the situation
3. Be aware of your own reactions (speak kindly)
4. Connect regularly
5. Create a routine
6. Limit access to media
Remember Nursery children may return to behaviours they have outgrown. For example, toileting accidents, bed-wetting, or being frightened about being separated from their parents or carers. They may also have tantrums or difficulty sleeping.
