The latest advice is:
At Nursery we will continue our control measures which include good hygiene, maintaining appropriate cleaning regimes and keeping occupied spaces well ventilated. Having been open throughout the pandemic we have been mindful of keeping our children, staff and families as safe as possible and have been grateful for the support from families with this.
If your child has symptoms please stay home and avoid contact with people. They can come back to school when they feel better or do not have a high temperature.
Children should use tissues for coughs and sneezes to ‘Catch it, bin it, kill it.’ They should also wash their hands after using and throwing away tissues. Most children who are unwell will recover in a few days with rest and plenty of fluids.
We have a number of children and adults who are at higher risk so please keep them in mind when following guidance. It is particularly important to avoid close contact with anyone who you know is at higher risk of becoming seriously unwell if they are infected with COVID-19 and other respiratory infections, especially those whose immune system means they are at higher risk of serious illness, despite vaccination.
The latest advice is:
- Get vaccinated
- Let fresh air in
- Remember the basics of good hygiene
- When to consider wearing a face covering
