INTENT
Building on prior learning, our sequenced curriculum is designed for all children’s well-being, confidence and voice; developing their knowledge, skills, behaviours and abilities through play to apply what they know and can do with increasing fluency and independence.
CURRICULUM
The curriculum is what we want the children to learn. We see Nursery School education as the ‘golden ticket’ into education; through fun, purposeful play and exploration we aim to foster a lifelong love of learning and to support children's development.
We have worked to create our own bespoke curriculum to meet the needs of the children in our setting. Please click the link below.

ENRICHMENT
All children start our Nursery being given a 'golden ticket' which explains why Nursery attendance is the key to a great start in education.
They also receive a 'passport'. The passport encourages parents/ carers in simple activities they can engage in with their child. These passports will be stamped by staff and then shared with the class so the children can celebrate their achievements. The passport also explains our commitment to a range of activities.
Across the year
We also have a program of visitors who come to Nursery, including a police officer and a librarian. These visitors talk about their jobs, this gives our young children the opportunity to reflect on the community around them and people who help us.
